Toronto, CA (September 13, 2022) – Figure3 is pleased to announce that award-winning, multidisciplinary designer Mardi Najafi has been promoted to Vice President of Retail Strategy and Design.

Over the last 9 years, Najafi has led the Figure3 Retail Studio, working with clients such as Telus, La Maison Simons, and Surterra Wellness, in addition to Virgin Mobile and Penguin Shop; bringing the client vision to life with a focus on customer-centric environments that leave a lasting impression.

From Paris to New York and Toronto, Najafi is known for creating innovative and transformative retail experiences for top tier brands like Coco-Cola, Adidas, Swatch, Versace, and Issey Miyake. Over the last 25 years, his global scope and extensive design background combines both industrial and interior design experience, and includes furniture design, exhibit design, pop-ups, retail showrooms, and high-fashion runways.

Najafi and the Figure3 retail team have proudly accepted multiple 2022 awards in retail design, including at The Nationals, the Gold Nugget Awards, and the VMSD Awards.

In his new role, Najafi will be leading creative and strategy of the Figure3 Retail Studio, as well as collaborating across all design disciplines to uncover market opportunities and deliver outstanding work for clients on a national and international level. Blurring the lines between where we live, work and shop.

“The time for innovative retail is now. Customers are eager to experience brands in real life – in a way that feels authentic, exciting, and relevant. The Figure3 Retail Studio has seen tremendous growth this past year, and we continue to welcome new brands to our incredible award-winning portfolio of work.”
